I have the same problem, i just bumped my head today, got a huge bump and i got a headache and couldn't walk properly, i went to the doctor, he gave me an x-ray, nothing wrong. You should try to take some pain killers, ask your doctor to give you some, you have to go to a doctor as soon as possible, in case you knock some nerves or something...

Headache is a pain in the head, scalp or neck. Headaches can be
caused by minor problems like eyestrain, lack of coffee or more
serious reasons like head injury, brain tumors, encephalitis and
meningitis. Taking painkillers continuously can have harmful side
effects, so it is better to modify your lifestyle. More information

It's normal to feel pain or thumping after bad injurys.I wouldn't sit around with it though, first try tylenol and soaking the injured area with a hot washcloth. If that doesn't work immediatly go to a health clinic so a doctor can tell you what to do.and examine you probabaly.

Personally, I think you should hot foot it to your doctor and get it checked out! It may be nothing but why risk that? I think you already know that or you wouldn't be asking! Go! Now!
