My son is 13y/o and he will be living with my sister. My ex-wife (his mom) has given this her blessing. Currently I pay the state of Fla the child support and the state disperses it to my ex-wife. How do I have the court send my child support to my sister?
Im sure some people have expierenced this situation before.
The county in question is Lake County, fl.

You both need to contact the Lake Co FL CSA and advise them you will need payment redirected to your sister. Most often this is done right in the child support office by stipulation (where both of you sign) and neither of you need appear in court. Call and speak with your case worker--its very easy and painless!

If your sister is willing to take care of your child then you will need to go to the county in which you live in to sign paperwork to give your sister legal guardianship rights. The court will then send the legal paperwork to the proper offices to set this up the payment changes that are needed.
How sad that neither of you want this child or can give him what he needs. I hope that he finds a loving home at your sisters house where he is wanted.

First off legal custody must be turned over to your sister and then you take the papers to the court and they will send the payment to your sister.

U have to get it court ordered.. basically let the judge know whats going on so they can get it legally rectified.. because if not the order says its to go to the x wife and they will continue to send it to her..

you have to make a court date so it can be changed in the support system
