WHAAAT? Movies and culture? Are you kiddin? Movies are a mode of entertainment. The people running the business are there to make money. They show what you watch. Stop watching and they'll stop producing. There was nothing like movies when temples of khajuraho were built.

Grow up... why do you wanna look at all the bad things.

Movies show both the good and the bad. You stand up to blame the bad, but you never get inspired by the good. How many of us are truly inspired by films like 'Lagey Raho Munnabhai', 'Rang De Basanti', 'Dhoop', etc.?

I know a lot of people would pop up and say that they were inspired. Now how many of these claiming that they were really inspired by the movies started acting like gandhi or Bhagatsingh after watching these movies? This survey would show some real drastic results.

Negetive thoughts coming into our minds are due to our weaknesses, our inability to control ourselves and inability to stay on to the path of good. We cannot blame any other media responsible for that...

My Dear Freind,
No doubt about that.
In the modern times, there are two powerful media (movies and TV channels) that very strongly influence any one, and now ,as the question is about Indians, surely the Indian culture is affected by these two medias.
In any movie, generally more than 95% they show the Violence, unethical behaviour,How a robbery can be meticulously planned and exercised. They show all details ,to aminute to the major one.Similarly the ''LOVE'' factor is playing major role.Irrespective of age , the producers are making films to show what they call ''LOVE''.Actually it is nothing but an infatuation.A biological urge that surfaces in mind.Reading Good Books, Hearing to the valuable guidance of elders, doing Prayer of their own discipline, and finally keeping mind away from these mental aberrtions is essencial. But the age is so small that they fail to read and hear good things. But an abundant Negative material to drive them crazy and go agoainst their culture is available in almost all movies, TV channels and other media. There is no restriction,in India ,either by State or any other organization to prevent ,mental pollusion of this type in children or adults aswell.
If instead if they make a picture ,in which the first fifteen minutes are devoted to breifly show the attractions ,the persons so attracted and their deeds and then devote more than an hour to show HOW THEIR MISTAKES HAVE SPOILED THEIR LIFE,HOW HE/SHE HAS BEEN JAILED FOR THE CRIME COMMITTED AND THE CONDITIONS IN JAIL IN DETAIL and ,THE DETERIORATED SOCIAL STATUS of such among good freinds, that will be beneficial.
So in my opinion the movies shall be made ,especially for children to put them in right track,as nowadays, there are none to guide them, mostly, and some entertaining movies with a small good message in it, that will be better.
Parents also shall have an eye on the children, about where they are going ,what they are seing, with whom they are mixing .Then they will have an idea whether the child is on right path or not. They, the parents shall NOT ALLOW THE CHILDREN from viewing the sex, violence etc oriented films.
No dance is decent. The dress in the movies that the HERO and HEROINe wear ,God knows what it is.
Normally we cover that is precious.Human skin (BODY BEAUTY) has become so cheap nowa days that 90% of body is exposed and ,they wear two pieces of clothes, that too made like worn out, which cost a fortune.I recollect the words of some person, which I read long long back,''In India the the ladies whose beauties were seen by their Husbands alone in the SANCTIFIED BED ROOMS, are now exposing most of their body, and it seems cloth is more precious and valuable than human skin.God help us to bail out all of us from this condition.
I am of firm opinion that these children and adults too definitely realise the negative impact they had,the good health they lost, the money they lost etc,...but IT WILL BE TOO LATE.
So if the movies are made,as in olden days, with some good story mixed with good comedy and a message then definitely there will be achange.otherwise, if the same trend continues,Indian culture will be a dtream for them.I hope Indians realise this and do something to come out of this cultural pollusion ,to save future aswell as present generations.
So I opine that THE FILMS OR MOVIES OF NOWADAYS ARE MOSTLY SPOILING INDIAN CULTURE.
Let us HOPE and BELEIVE that the YOUTH wil WAKE UP and a NEW ERA wii dawn. When we can be proud to be Indinans.
