I'm too young to hold on and too old to break free and run. Actually, it does get harder to keep up with the teenagers at the gym. Playing basketball is supposed to be fun!

Yep, a lots of things. For example:

I can not even imagine climbing Mount Everest anymore. Always wanted to do that. I blew that chance for sure.

I was trying to become the World's best tennis player one day, I guess I blew that one too.

I always dreamed that someday I would learn how to dance properly and pick up young girls in a crowded bar, but now that I am kinda old, I am sure I would look totally out of place. I am sure I blew that opportunity for ever.

There are a lot of other things like that in my life that I can not do anymore, now that I am too old. Far too many to mention here.

So don't pay attention to, "you are never too old for that" line! Its just some over-paid, positive mental attitude, gurus talking and trying to give you a false sense of security about your age.

I don't know about the other oldies, but I have accepted my age and am dealing with it positively. Acting my own age, as they say.

No.

However, time I find usually does. There are never enough hours in the day to do what I would like as many my life is consumed by work and other things.

So the question should be: Does not having enough time hold you back from doing the things you want to do?

Not really. But people, when hearing my actual age, assume that I can't wait to retire, when, in fact, that is the last thing that I would ever want to do!
