"Bad things" are NEWS

Good things are nothing.

The media makes money on SALES not on "feelings".

Yep! Everybody has said it. It sells. It makes me worry though that our society finds cruelty, heartache and despair so alluring. Something is not right but I just can not put a finger to it from trying! Is it a wonder that society is becoming increasingly morally corrupt?

People want to see bad things happen to other people. They want to feel that thier day was better that those people on the news. Also they wish to have things to complain about weather it's true or not.

People normally look at the bad side of things.

You can do a million things right but that one screwup is the one they remember.

People are more interested in bad news than good news because it catches their attention and makes them feel good, knowing that there's someone who is worse off than them.
