Hello ... Would be pleased to help!!
There are three steps to moisturising - Cleansing, Exfoliating and finally moisturising!
Step 1: You need to find a good cleanser that your skin responds well to, and stick with it! - I find Neutrogena thats the best for me!
Try to avoid bar soaps as they tend to dry out your skin - Soap bars should only ever touch your skin from the neck down!
Most cleansers contain oil, water and 'surfactants'. The oil dissolves oil on your face, surfactants dissolve dirt and makeup and the water washes it all away! The secret is finding the right mix of oil. Too much on your skin will clog pores and too little will dry it out.
Try not to cleanse too often. Washing at night should do you, a splash of lukewarm water is all you need - Never wash your face with hot or cold water (both can cause broken capillaries).
Step 2: Exfoliating is the step most people skip in their weekly skincare routine. But trust me, if you start properly exfoliating your skin, you will notice an almost immediate difference - One of the reasons men's skin looks more youthful than women's is because men tend to exfoliate daily when they shave.
Try simply using a scrub, this works by removing the top layer of dead skin cells that tend to dull your complexion. Try using a microdermabrasion kit by Lancome once a week, this will keep your skin glowing!
Step 3: Moisturise! Basically everyone, no matter what their skin type, should moisturise. Even if your skin is oily, it will benefit from moisturisers - Except if you have acne!
So how much should you moisturise? Your skin will tell you! When your skin is tight, it's crying out for moisture. Be careful not to overmoisturize -- this can cause clogged pores!
Hope this has helped - If it has please add me as your best answer!!

Yes you can, The best thing is to have a light day cream with SPF, and a rich night cream (especially if you have dry skin) as this is when your skin repairs itself. Too much moisturiser will block pores causing spots and blackheads, So moisturise, but let you skin breathe by cleansing and toning. Incidentally a great cheap cream for washing with (instead of soap which is the enemy of dry skin) and appyling all over the body is aqueous cream from chemists, it's water based and completely neutral and perfume free. Moisturise from within and drink plenty of water.

Yes!!!!
Our skin can only adsorb certain amount of moisturizer.
So be sure to choose one suitable for your skin! If you need more care and added benefits, mix and match with a different serum which function are different than your moisturizer to make sure your skin have a balanced nourishment because moisturizer stay on the epidermis while serum or essence goes deep down into the dermis layer.
For eye cream, a green bean size for two eyes. thats all.
For moisturizer, a pearl size to be exact.
Is it more understandable that way?

You should only need to moisturse twice a day, morning and night. If you feel you need to do it more often you may be suffering from extreme dry skin, and need a word with the GP / Chemist about the best product for you.

Too much of anything is bad.
So, yeah if you put loads on lots of times during the day for like a year your skin will deteriate.
Just use as much as you need.

NO. you can never moisturize too much.
having said that you all waste the moisturizing cream/lotion because human skin can only absorb two products at once.anything more than two products (in your case two layers) will only be a waste and will stay on the surface like a foundation/make up.

try not to over moisturise as it will clog up your pores causing acne especially when the moisturiser is oil-based.
