would you start a conversation with a random person you've never met and probably never will see again, like for eg. on a bus

Sure, I do it all the time. Sometimes the best opinions come from those that are not biased. (Biased meaning your friends and family)

Yes. All the time. Not all the time but i mean mostly. I was at the bus stop once and a Jamaican lady came up to me and lectured me to do my best at school and stuff. Ever since then we just talk now and then on the bus as well as at the bus stop.

Have a nice day!

I always do, you'd be surprised the stories you hear from people. My aunt was in the hospital dying and we brought in the newborn puppies from my dogs litter ( I was like 14) and i remeber the gentleman across the room who always had his curtains shut i went over with one of the puppies and asked him If he wanted to hold it ( this was an elderly man) and he held the puppy and tears came to his eyes. He told me of the dog that he and his wife had owned and how when his wife had died the dog mourned her and would not leave the back entrance until the dog had died of heartbreak. The gentleman thanked me for offering the puppy and I hugged him. I learned that day that other peoples stories need to be heard and I would never have been able to hear his tale if I didn't talk to strangers. He also in later visits told me about how he used to do woodwoking in his garage and the things he would make, my life is richer for the experience.

There's no harm in talking. Talking to strangers in waiting rooms or queues is a great way to pass the time. Noticing a lot of people are letting their T shirts 'do the talking'.

Oh yes!! They are the best kind of people to talk to - you can tell them anything! I find hospital waiting rooms are a great place to chat to people!!

Anyway, I've made a lot of friends that way - if I never talked to strangers, I'd never meet mew mates!

I would talk to a wall if the men in white coasts weren't after me. A stranger is just a friend you haven't met yet

Yup, I do it all the time. It makes things like long flights more interesting and I have met several people that I am still good friends with that way.
