Sure, if you like Teddy Bears that much.
If you go to the factory store (outside Burlington, VT), you can pick out your bear, dress it, etc. It has, I believe, a lifetime guarantee and if something happens to it (e.g.: your dog chews its nose off) they'll fix it and return it with a little hospital ID band on its wrist and so forth.
Either you're into bears or your not. If you are, though, it might be nice to get it at the factory itself, if you are within traveling distance.

Someone bought my little girl a VT Teddy BEar when she was born, I had never even heard fo it before that! I think its only worth it IF the person you are buying it for is a Teddy BEar collector.. if its just as a bear for a being a bears sake it is definitely NOT worth your money.

I've never seen one in person, but after suffering through the commercial being played I'd have to say no. If you want to get a nice bear that is worth the money, get a Steiff.

my friend just bought me one that was 95.98 theyre so expensive b/c they literally last a life time ...in 20 years my kids' kids can still be shipping the bear off having him repaired...it probably averages out to what an average parent spends on teddy bears or stuffed animals in a year...at least this kid can become attatched to this and never has to let it go i love mine...i think its one of the neatest things someones got me b/c of the idea behind it

This is a sweet Q....I must say no I really did not..it was a bunny..my uncle gave me when I was little..I loved that bunny..I had it for years, than 1 day my mom knew this little girl who moved near us, she had very little, so I gave my bunny to her...I remember how good I felt when I saw the happiness in her eyes.
