In every relationship, sooner or later this question will come up.
For me there are 2 ways to handle this.
1) Hire a discrete detective. This business is growing. I will not
choose this option however.
2) As default I trust my partner, and as default I am not jelous.
thats untill I see or suspect a really unusual behavior, and then I will directly ask my partner. Th epartner will either say the thruth or lie. But by default I assume my partner says the thruth. Si here are the possibilites:
a) he is no cheating and says so.
b) he is not cheating but says that he is (this is rare, makes no sence)
c) he is cheating and admits it. well, here you decide what you want to do. forgive or not.
d) he is cheating, but denies. This is the tricky one.
here, you can believe and live happy with the lie. you can doubt and keep asking or hire a detective.
now the possibilites are huge. might be a thing he did just once, or maybe on regular basis. since he lies, you dont know (unless detective).
In my opinion, a relation is healty, when there are never any doubts. What I did was, from the very beginning I stated, that I want a honest relationship, I will always say the thruth, and thats what I expect. For me the peace in my home is the most holy thing. And doubt and jelousy can destroy this.
The most dangerous thing reealy is, when you start accusing your partner, but in reality he is not cheating. What will your partner thing of you ? get proofe first, I mean, real proof before accusing, but be very discrete. what will you partner things, if he figured that you dont trust him ? Thats why I prefer to trust. if my partner cheats, one day, sooner or later, it will become obvious.

You must remain open since history does not repeat itself and that someone was bad before does not mean that other person, even if he/she shares some characteristic with person that was bad (nationality, sex, color, size or any type of generalization, category or stereotype) might do the same. As we cant know I, at least, rather be open and hurt if necessary that miss trust everyone. I have live a couple of similar situations but reflecting upon it I decided that even though those persons had damaged my past experiences I was not going to let then also ruin my future ones. Be brave. Its worth it.
Best regards

There is no secret recipe for this.We are taking risk of being cheated or not.You got your lottery and through the years it will show if you win jackpot or you loose!Just don't think about it every moment. These "about trust and cheating" thoughts can destroy you and your relationship even without cheating.Relax and enjoy:)

Assume her to be honest unless proved otherwise. No necessity of policing.
