set in 2007 ... but with that early 60's innocence intact. Would the kids understand?

No. It'd be unbelievable and kids today would just think it's another silly comedy and they wouldn't "get it" because it wouldn't be full of sex or innuendos to sex or something disgusting. Gotta stick with the old reruns for good humor.

I just want TV Land to listen to it's viewers and play the reruns again. (at a reasonable hour! not in the middle of the night!) I sent them several emails and everyone on their website is really worked up about getting it back on the air. I love watching the show and would love to see them show it again. TV Land just isn't what it used to be.

I'd watch it, depending on who the stars were. I'm a guy, and I'm really pretty tired of all the sitcoms like 'According to Jim', 'King of Queens', etc, that portray all guys as fat, lazy, selfish slobs who are married to beautiful, long-suffering, married-below-themselves-wives.
