When Henrik Larsson retired from international football, it wasn't the manager that made him come back, nor (then) UEFA President Lennart Johanssen, it was infact a massive campagin from the Prime Minister & the good folk of Sweden and also his son that made him change his mind.
Do you reckon us england fans should start a national campaign to get Paul Scholes to come out of retirement, backed by our very own PM, Mr Tony Blair as good old Steve McLaren is obviously making just as good a job of tempting him back as he is of managing the team!

the answer is yes, and on that point alan shearer should have gone to the world cup. 15 mins of alan would have been better than walcot keeping the bench company.
even god for bid beckham would still do a job to serve the strikers.

NO, for crying out loud Jay, some stuff you put on here is ok but, perleeease PS is past it, only good for about 45 mins of play, we need direction and team craft, non of which Steve McLaren knows jack all about. He managed a second rate team and just like Graham Turnip(nee Taylor) is turning England from a second rate team to a third rate team. There are players out there but instead of going the whole hog and selecting them and disregarding the rest, which would cause uproar, he continues with players who aren't up to it. SG and JT are the only WC players in the team, try others and FFS leave Lumlard and Robinson, the flapper, out of the team. They have been found out too often.......

no longer north no longer south. The british group is somewhat puffed up, even however that's a powerful group, an evident quarter-finalist in any international cup. They lack great gamers however. Beckham would not degree as much as international cup greats like Platini, Zidane, Zico, Rivaldo, Ronaldo, Maradona, etc. supply it it sluggish, they'll probable beat slovenia, pass on and who's usual with of then?

our problem runs deeper than gettin scholes back. he wouldn't be around for the next world cup and thats what we need to build for. we need a manager thats capable of making the players we have gel, simple as that.

Ginger bollocks is a very good player and I doubt if he'd want to embarass himself by playing for that load of shite!!-They'd drag him down to their level-Take Gerrard out of the team and you have no world class players-FACT!!
