because a human has a brain to understand that if you are fighting back , if you are carrying a weapon, that someone else life may be threatened or taken while in the line of duty ; stop resisting arrest and take your battle to court to defend yourself at that time not in the middle of the night in the streets; has extreme force been used , yes, but then I am not alone in an alley in the middle of the night, facing who or whom and putting my life on the line facing a bullet and my last breath as police officers do ; walk one night in their shoes and you may feel differently?? An animal resists in some levels as well ; lost of their freedom but there is no court to help the wild animal to gain his freedom back but there is one for a human.

Humans being taken into custody are being done so for a reason. Why are animals tranquilized and captured at all? What have they done wrong but be at the mercy of humans.

How about humans being told that when police say stop they stop.
We have more complex brians and we have to understand there are authority figure we need to respect.
Than cops won't have to rough on those who fight being arrested.
