I share a wireless router with my roommate, and he checks the logs to view my internet usage using my IP address. Can I prevent my computer from showing up on the log, yet still be on the acceptable list?

If you own the router then log on to the router, disable the logging feature, then assign a different administrator password to the router.

Be advised your roommate can undo all of this merely by pressing the reset button on the back on the router......

This in all probability would not have something to do with human beings "tapping" into your community, yet somewhat instantaneous interference. you do no longer by twist of destiny have 2.4 GHz telephones do you? those would reason flaky instantaneous connections, via fact they might overlap the instantaneous alerts. 5.8GHz or 900MHz telephones won't reason interference.
