Because he does know that he is shallow and lack of knowledge.
He also really knows that most people in this world now already against him blatantly as a blasphemous human. He just has purposefully to stay on board as US president due to the expiration schedule for a US president.

The reason Chicken George looks nervious is he's going through the DTs, or he hasn't had his coke fix. It's well known he's back on the bottle, that's why Laura isn't around the Whorehouse anymore.
Also notice that whenever Chicken George appears on TV, all such "interviews" feature softball questions in the friendly territory of FAUX Nothing, to quote Kieth Olbermann. It sure as hell isn't a news channel.
If Chicken George were to be interviewed live by Olbermann with no fixed list of pre-approved questions, he'd break down and collapse or attack Olbermann in a fit of rage. Chicken George is the worse sort of coward.
Just think back two weeks ago when Dickless Chicanery appeared on Wolf Blitzer's fake "news" show on CNN and Blitzer asked friendly, softball questions. Dickless almost blew a stack and said Blitzer was "rude" for asking about his daughter.

Well lets see,He is over confident, has a lack of confidence,An Iditot,Goofy, arogent,boring,lacks personality,Goofy,An azz hole,thinks hes sooo cool and suvaey,goofy. all in all he is a joke,I'm confused why a person/and or how a person can carry themselves in such a manner that they are so important and yet are so unaware of what is really going on . What is our world coming too? Bush is to sure of himself in all the wrong directions,but being a phony brings on those traits.

because liberals have no shame and would absolutely do anything at anytime to draw one word or phrase out of context to advance their cause and villfy him for further power grab gain...how would you feel if you were a target 24/7. yes the pelosi/reid regieme is that ruthless.
