Fact from fiction, truth from diction. If a woman wears makeup(outside of a little mascara and lip gloss)I feel she is trying to hid or disguise something like a man with a "comb-over". It is like trying to pass something off that really is not there. Have you ever known people to spray pant their lawn as to make people believe they had a healthy green patch of turf like a golf course? It may look nice, but it won't feel nice to lay on and the fact that is is still poor grass underneath. Same with makeup.

Dress? If it is not overly disruptive to the work environment or dangerous, then, why not? If a woman working a law office, coming to work dressed like a harem girl or a suit of armor might be too big of a distraction. But if she wanted to ditch the pant suit and come to work in a leather mini, thigh high stilettos, and a "cow neck" wool sweater it maybe different than the fashion most are wearing but it poses no dander and is not so distracting that people can not get their work done. Different dress can be good if you are not in a place where you have a uniform, and the theme is to look as close to the same as possible.

Though that is a typical sight where I live, I don't usually think anything about her. I don't find that style attractive and it's definitely not for me, but that is her perogative. Her reality dictates that as the "in" style for whatever reason, who am I to judge or say anything about what someone else chooses to look like?

I was born and raised in the Pacific Northwest of the United States but I'm currently living in Puerto Rico. I am a 25 year old female.

There could be many reasons that somebody wears heavy make up and unusual clothes/dress. First one that comes to mind is, she is very unhappy about their physical appearance. Second, She might have facial scars she needs to cover up, or the scars could be mental or emotional from a childhood/adolescence trauma.
Third, maybe they just do it on purpose to keep the profoundly shallow people away from them, or just get some pleasure from the reactions they get from their co-workers. Like I wrote above, there can be many reasons why, but until they tell you, you'll never know for sure.

Second- Must have took lessons off of Tammy Faye Baker or Dolly Pardon
Third- Women don't need all that War Paint
Fourth- I got to get me her address!
Fifth- "Kids where's moms Feb. AVON Book, car keys?"

I would imagine that she feels invisable somehow insignificant. Adding layers of makeup is like putting a maks on it it hides who you are really and if she feel inadequate then that is exactly wwhat she would do. Hide.

And as for her dress if reflects the person she puts on, the one that gives her what she craves, the person she feels she needs to be to get the attention she wants.

Well some people judge and say terrible things. Others just move on about there lives as they know it is none of their concern what others are doing or wearing. Tis the great thing about America.

I find it hard to respect women who put on so much that you can't see who they are. Women are a lot more attractive and personable when they're just themselves.
