And what kind of boss do you have now? Would you prefer having a nice boss, who rarely gets angry when something goes bad and takes a few of his employees out to lunch once in a while etc? Or a Boss who is tough s.o.b, and gets what he's suppose to do, done etc?

there is a happy medium but remember a supervisor finds it tough to manage when friendly with those supervised. any manager would be better off to keep a certain distance from those supervised in case his boss tells him to discipline certain employees
