a raccoondog is a fox like animal that looks like a mix between a raccoon and a dog, their raised in china for their fur. i just thought they would make a unusual pet. and something that might make a splash in the use for peaple that like unusual pet.

Thy are a breed of hounddogs, kinda like and over sized Beagle if you want this dog as a house pet they do have a dirty dog smell, they are most friendly. All the people I have ever known that has had them, have kept them outside, and were used for hunting the raccoon. I my self disagree with this sport. I have seen what a raccoon can do to a dog.
As a rule the price of these dog are high also, If you aren't going to show this breed or use it in the sport then pick a different breed to suit your purpose.
