When I read Harry Potter, It takes me into this other world, which at times is too hard to explain, but like most books, one can identify with a charcter, for example, I would identify closelyn with harry, no parents but determined, but with narnia, I don't know, you just can't get into the book, I haven't seen the movie yet, but I've tried to read the book:} Hope this helps

in the two books, the reader is taken right into a international that would not easily exist. the two books have a feeling of magic. in the two books and maximum suitable sacrifice became made for the best of all (by using lily potter and the lion). harry is seen a hero for destroying Volemort and the sons of adam and the daughters of eve are seen the hero for ending the reign of the white witch... that's approximately all that I easily have have been given

"Harry Potter" and "The Chronicles in Narnia" are great reads. The characters are well written, likeable or despicable (in the case of villains), description is vivid, plot is engrossing. Try reading one or all of the books. You'll see.

I was never a fan of 'Potter'. But LWW, I read when I was in 6-7 grade and I just loved it. And to see that, was awesome. I really can't explain it.
Even Eragon, looked stupid to me.
I read all of the LOR books, but I couldn't see the movies. They looked so boring to me.
