Get the vacuum cleaner out, you get to scare the cat and clean your home at the same time. Wouldn't that please Mrs Hitman

I once adopted a cat that was a survivor from Hurrican Andrew. I was driving home with him and rolled down the window. The cat freaked out (reminded him of the hurricane) so every now and then when I had to take him to the vet or to a sitter's house I would roll down my car window to see if he had gotten over his fear of hurricanes. He never did.

No, DON'T! Cats are not humans. They don't bounce back as easily because you can't communicate with them to tell them you're sorry afterwards.

If you scare your cat just for fun, then there's something seriously wrong with you. Find something else to do, and show your cat some love.

You're one of those people who thinks cats are aloof and stand-offish, or just plain mean, aren't you?

Gosh, I wonder why??

Don't worry, pretty soon the cat will hide every time it sees or hears you coming, and you'll seldom see it at all.

Tie a sparkler to its tail and light it. Or feed it castor oil like Tom Sawyer.
Better still play it Britney Spears' songs. It'll go crazy hearing the yowling.

Hide somewhere and then started meowing. If the cat can't see you but hear you it will freak it out. (Not that I've done this, it's just mean)......

Sorry, I wouldn't want to be a party to harassing a feline.

lol-that's easy!!! all I do is take one step toward a cat & it takes off running like a bat out of hell. -Or you can just sneak up behind it & scream or shout at it... -that'll work.
