Depends on the situation in which he fathered them under. Does he take care of them or does he have very little to do with them? You can tell alot about a guy by how he treats his kids. I don't think there's anything wrong with having a child out of wedlock. If it's a habit or with a load of different women, I'd question it and probably not be as likely to enter into a realtionship with him but, that's just me personally.

How much of an older guy is he than you? And if you fell in love and to later find out he has kids, why wasnt he honest and told you from the start? Are all these children with the same mother? Does he have contact with them? If he has no contact with his children then what kind of father would he be if you have kids with him? I think I would be asking him why he wasnt honest with you from the beginning of your relationship. I would take a step back and see what kind of future you are going to have with this guy. I would be finding out answers before your relationship goes any further.

It happened to me! With a younger guy with one child. It depends on what you are looking for in the relationship with him. If you want a serious relationship, you need to ask yourself if that's what you really want because the children become a part of your life, they are always going to be first in his life (at least until they grow up).
You should have a talk with him and ask where he is with you. If he is in a different level it may not work well...
I believe in following my heart, but it could really hurt.
If you want to get married, what is your dream marriage like? Can you see yourself in your dream marriage with this guy? If yes, I would say go for it!

If he was not upfront about the kids, what else is there and were they all with one partner? If more than one partner, kick him to the curb or he'll have 4 kids:(

If he's not married now I don't see a problem other than he is not being very open and honest with you. I would encourage him to trust you with things and continue being with him if thats what you want.

But u didn't mentioned whether he has got gf ..are they staying together...etc....,after all at the end you have to decide whether to stay with him or not...and before make any decision...think well.
