Of course, the fact that the west, especially the US, supplied weapons to iraq to blow the hell out of iran has nothing to do with why they might feel some hostility towards us?
As for now, well the US wants, if not needs, to control the middle east. They have sent iraq back to the stone age, saudi arabia is well and trully under the thumb, israel....well, lets just say they are ever so slightly pro US. so that leaves only syria and iran as powerful nations in the region....and guess who are top of the USA's hit list? yep, the 'terrorist nations' of syria and iran.
Since the US screwed up their invasion of iraq they have been desperatly trying to find an excuse to attack either or both of syria and iran. (remember syria was funding terrorists in lebanon.... well, having a lack of imagination that is what they are now saying about iran funding iraq insurgents...)
Only, syria (unlike iraq) has a very large standing army that is pretty well equipped and very willing to fight for their country.... that translates into alot of american deaths if they try to start a war..... that leaves iran.... so expect more 'stories' about how evil iranians are and how GW Bush will be a saint for sending more americans to their sensless deaths just to satisfy his ego and desire for dominance...
Oh - and be sure to look at the 'Proof' that is supplied - ill bet money it will be never more than "our inteligences sources have determined that....." ie, no real proof at all....

I do not believe that Americans are friends with Iranians. Many of us remember what Iran did to the US citizens during the Carter administration. The current president of Iran was one of the terrorists who were involved in this crime. It seems that many Iranians are afraid that Iran will be attacked by the USA. I do not believe that this will occur unless America is provoked in Iraq or elsewhere by Iran.

Another argument my country (the USA) is making is that Iran is providing the Iraqi insurgents with weapons to fight the Americans. Whether that's true or not remains to be seen. Some people in my country fear that our president has wanted to go against Iran for some time now, and is just scapegoating them, because of how similar the rhetoric against Iran sounds to that which we heard against Iraq some years ago.

Well, seeing that Iran supports terrorists, and their elected President has repeatedly called for the destruction of Israel, and there is evidence they are already supplying Shi'ite terror groups with weapons, I can see where allowing them to have nuclear weapons would be foolish at best.

Their threat is real. And guess what; it's the same threat Saddam was before we removed him from power. We may not have found WMD's, but you can rest assured he would have tried to get them. Just like Iran is doing now.

A government who wants to destroy a neighbor and supports suicide bombers and terror groups hell bent on killing Americans is trying to get nuclear weapons. Can you see why this is a threat?

And just where did you get THAT stupid idea?

YOUR people overran OUR embassy without provocation and held our people captive for 444 days. It took the inauguration of a no-nonsense president who publicly said that the first thing he was gonna do was come get our people for your people to release them.

YOUR people are currently led by a maniac who is intent on acquiring nuclear weapons, and it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out that the first thing he's gonna do with them is use them against Israel. And YOUR people are doing NOTHING to stop him...you're just following him like sheep.

YOUR people are currently providing the arms and supplies needed by the Iraqi insurgents to kill MY people, and of course your maniac president denies this.

I have NO DESIRE to be friends with you or ANY Iranian. Not now, not tomorrow, not ever!
