terry h...... i am well aware of why he did it, but when you are playing a team like arsenal on there hoem ground and WINNING... you wil do everything you can to keep the win, all i am saying is that a player of his class dosnt need to resort to being childish or arrogant.. Let his football do the talking!

Legend is someone who produces. Henry is a producer. however if one were to be classed under the word legend, there must be some dignity and self respect coming from that person. Classic example in the champs league 2006 against barcelona when Puyol tackled for the ball and by accidently nudged Henry, and Henry put his hands on his face. There wernt no dignity or self respect knowing TV cameras were on him and the whole world watching. So in answering ur question, I think he shuldnt have done that to the referee regardless of his frustration, after all he has to be professional and is a role model to the young ones.

The reason he done it after Wigan scored was because Kirkland was wasting time every time he took a goal kick, and Henry was even running to collect the ball after the ball went out because of it.The ball in Kirkland's face after we scored was because Henry was saying to him do you want to time waste again. Adebayor wasn't offside and as for a bit of luck our way, we deserve it, how many times is Henry ruled off-side because of his pace when he isn't. as for Henry being a gunner through and through he has been for a long time , that's why he's still here!

lmao once i saw him do that i thought the ref was gonna card him for bad conduct. even later on in the match a little after the incident Henry went back to him and it looked like he gave some sort of apology...either way i was shocked that Henry did that. bad sportsmanship but sometimes u just can't control ur anger on the pitch. who cares. great own goal by Hall. lmao

henry tore the football world apart in the 98 world cup, a gem a serious gem dug up worthy of any diamond cutters expertise. but now hes pushing 30 he will get the prima dona attitude. the half yard he will lack will show itself as petulance. zidane showed it as well in 06 headbutting another player over a jibe! christ half the things said to me on the pitch about my own mother would make bernard manning blush. i think it was 92 or 93 when niall quinn broke thorsvets nose accidently! throsevet got up and shook quinns hand while blood poured from his nostrils. now that professional football.

Henry is a great player but what he did was uncalled for his team had already scored so there was no need to do that. I am sure Pele would have never done that.

Yeah, he went down a lot in my estimation when he did that...he's a great player but he showed he's also very big-headed when he did that. At least Kirkland told him where to go..

he is becoming too big headed, u can tell by his behaviour and that look on his face and the way he acts on the pitch.....and why did he talk to Walcott for about 5 minutes, right b4 the kick-off? he had many hours b4 the match and a lot of time in the dressing room to do that! he did it to show that he is Big One at arsenal...... As much as i love Henry. i must say he is really becoming arrogant....
so yes, he was definitely out of order yesterday

People placed on pedestals really reach the heights we assume of them, it is only a matter of time before human frailties show through. T.H. is one of the better examples (at least in public) but think about it, how much do you actually know about him?

i was at the game yesterday, i thought it was cheeky, but kirkland deserved it - as soon as they went one goal up in the first half he was taking more than 2 minutes over every goal kick and got away with it - lehmann did the same once and got booked.

Wigan deserved to lose yesterday, they were time wasting as a team, they got away with loads of fouls, and were cynical dirty cheats.

They got what they deserved from the game, i.e. nothing.
