You know nothing because you are all Americans or from English-speaking countries. THE TRUE REASON IS: you cannot market it as "Pajero" in Hispanic countries in America because "pajero" means WANKER. And it is not a joke. For obvious reasons, I am not going to be caught dead driving a car that has a giant "WANKER" sign in the spare tire on the back. "Hacerse la paja" means to masturbate, in slang. So, if you are masturbating (pajeándote) all the time, you are a "pajero" (wanker). Any Hispanic that travels to the other countries and sees the "PAJERO" tag in these cars always comes back with photos and making jokes about it.
