I agree with film freak...steer clear of the "sappy "romance movies after a bad break up,! Here's some that I suggest...Memento, Mission Impossible(2or3), Anchorman, High Fidelity, Swingers, Kill Bill Vol 1and2, Rush Hour, The Bourne Identity, School of Rock, This is Spinal Tap and the Monty Python the Holy Grail or Life of Brian. Good luck! I hope things start looking up for you.

I'm gonna recommend films that steer well away from romance for you xx
Finding Nemo - A lovely family piece about friends, and family.(very funny)
Monsters Inc - (ok has a tiny bit of romance - but its more funny than anything, and the little girl boo, and little green one eyed monster will have you giggling)
Monty python and the holy grail (very funny, with some of the maddest jokes - including the fearsome chicken of Bristol, and the most dangerous rabbit ive ever seen!)
Shaun of the dead (again a little romance - but nothing too bad, this one is good - since it deals with people turning into zombies in a funny fashion, and can make you go (hee hee ) in a little evil way!
The incredibles - very funny superhero family!
animated movies tend to be good - because they more about the laughs and the happy endings (pixar type movies)
if you see something you really like but say dont have heres a website you can watch movies free online - u dont even need to register

Addicted to Love. It's a really really good black comedy about breaking up with your ex.
Meg Ryan and Matthew Broderick have been dumped by their respective partners. They meet while planning revenge and conspire to break up a relationship between their ex-sweethearts. Part classic screwball comedy, part nightmare.
I guarantee if you watch this movie, you'll feel much better about your breakup. :D

I'd go for teen romcom - possibly Bring It On, Get Over It, or Ten Things I Hate About You.
