Websense is being used in our office so I cannot use proxy sites to access gmail,orkut,yahoo,meebo or any other im.Please suggest.

http://www.filtersneak.com/
for browsing blocked sites.

Well, the honest answer is that you are not supposed to check your personal mails at your office premises! Its not ethical to bypass office security - you pose risk to yourself by going against your organization's policies and your organization too!
Websense is more intelligent - it blocks all the proxy requests too. So something like vtunnel might not work always. Best thing is to check gmail outside work!

There's ways around most any firewall but is it worth it?
The sites are blocked because they don't want people
doing personal stuff on office computers and it's not very
hard to check to see who got around the firewall.
Losing a job is not worth it. Wait till you go home to check your e-mails.

specific. basically upload a proxy server on your internet Explorer properties. Then circulate forward and sparkling your table out, via fact once you're caught vacationing prohibited web content on your corporation's computing gadget, you would be fired, with reason.

Try using mail.google.com instead. If that doesn't work use the proxies that the guy above mentioned.
