The physical recovery time will be a few weeks, depending on things like general health and immune system health. The recovery time for realizing that you've made a terrible mistake = the rest of your life!

Take a look at http://www.norm.com and also http://www.healthcentral.com/drdean/408/60750.html for the probably effects on yourself and your partner.

Maple nailed the answer on this one!!

I was cut 51 years ago and it is bothering me more and more all the time. The only time it didn't bother me was in my beer drinking days. Maybe that's why so many guys like to sit around and drink beer, their willies don't get sore from that. Just try get off your duff and run a few miles a day and see how that feels. To you ladies, take a bristle brush to your clit for about an hour at a time and you will get the idea.

I have a very good idea why this country has turned into a nation of fat a**es. Sitting around watching football, eating wings and drinking beer is about all a circumcised guy can do without feeling rubbed raw.

You doubt my observation; how many jews or muslims have won the Tour de France?

I was originally circumcised at age 40 in response to my (then new) wifes strongly expressed preference for a circumcised penis. It was one of the best things that I have ever done and has benefitted our sex life overwhelmingly. I was healed enough to have sex again within 3 weeks of my circumcision and the final appearance was evident within 3 months. Last year I had a recircumcision to remove a little loose skin which had developed over the years due to stretching during erections, sex etc and to restore an ultra tight result. It took a little longer to heal this time, but I was "up and running" again within about 4/5 weeks. It's nothing really and the benefits are fantastic!
