Neither.
The Who AND The Hollies.

Trivia for you...
Name the first single released by The Beatles and The Rolling Stones. Only 1 in 10,000 of either group's fans would know those songs.
Name the first single released by The Who. People who are NOT fans of The Who know it. In fact, I'd bet Beatles and Rolling Stones fans could name as many or more Who singles than songs by the other two bands.
Unfortunately, "I Can't Explain" it to them because they don't want to hear it. Hardly anyone remembers "My Bonnie" or "Come On" while The Who were successful from day one.

Beatles- Beatles music is like classical music; a century from now there will still be a following of people who are Beatles freaks. It's already happening.
Every new generation of young kids has a group that is absolutely freaked out over the Beatles. And it will continue on & on...

Although I like listening to the Beatles, I have to say that the Rolling Stones far outweigh the beatles. The Rolling Stones are LIVELY people, their songs are very lively, catchy, it puts you in a party mood. Mick Jagger must be the best stage perfomrer of all times. Hell, look at the Vood Lounge album - when they did that tour they were in their middle fifties. I watched them for TWO HOURS and Mick Jagger was on the go for TWO HOURS - I have never seen such energy from ONE man in my life. There are very few people half his age that can perform like that for such along period of time!! It just makes them stand out from the Beatles!!
