England has every chance to win. A weakened team has just beaten world champions Australia three times in a row. With a fit Michael Vaughan as Captain and with Kevin Pietersen back in the team England are currently joint second favourites (behind Australia).
There is every chance that England can win.

It's possible but not probable in my opinion.
However, I don't think it's as clear cut as people think. Most teams have at least one match winner in the side.
West Indies are at home. Lara
South Africa and Pakistan are playing some cracking one day cricket, in the series, currently being played.
Kallis and Mohamed Yousef.
India's batting is really strong.
Tendulker leading the way.
Sri Lanka have a very good side.
Jayaseria, (Is that how you spell it)?
But, I still take Australia to win, just.
Do you think that they can? Let's hope so.

England Team have improved a lot in ODI recently. Hence their chances of winning the world cup cannot be ruled out.

If they just beat Australia 3 times in a row, obviously they can win the world cup, given that Australia are the No1 team. If they have everyone fit and not too many "off" days (ahem ahem - major weakness of this England team I think), then I don't see why not...

England is an excellent area yet they arent purely playing solid they purely were totaly trashed through south africa in all departments does it tellyou if english/batsmen/bowlers are able to finish hostile to correctly international gamers? England ought to replace their managment Vaughn must be kicked and they ought to enable Strauss play generally. If the managment variations they have a probability to win the subsequent international cup

probably not, most of the boys are gonna struggle with the conditions after already spending three gruelling months down under. expect slow paced wickets and low scoring matches which would mean more experienced batting line ups will come to the fore ie s africa, india and australia. i dont think englands youngsters (bopara, joyce, plunkett etc ) will have the ability to adapt to these conditions with bat or ball quickly enough to make the semi finals. if inzy can pull his finger out and they manage to get some bowlers together pakistan could also get in the mix. it should be fun regardless of who wins (unless its them darn aussies).

Unlikely, but if Colly can continue his stellar form, KP comes back and plays like he can, Virgil recovers from his hamstring and captains a reinvigorated Fred and Jimmy Anderson is fit, who knows? Aussies still have to be favourites but SA, Pak and WI will all be fancying their chances now.

They can, but they will have to play every game @ 110% & knowing england that is highly unlikely.
