"Vision" is an idea one usually supports with a plan and invests their determination and faith in. That means they are actively pursuing their dream. A "dream" is viewed as something one "wishes" they could do...most of the time few people actually pursue a dream. They abandon it for what they CAN attain, though it DOES linger in their thoughts.

There's 2 ways to read/answer your question. 1) A vision is something we can imagine, can purposely visualise it, & it seems like it could happen, & a dream is something we hope for but the chances are it's less likely to happen. 2) A vision is something which involentarily comes to someone when they are in a waking state, a prediction of sorts about the future which they *see* as if on a tv screen in their head & a dream, when your asleep & you dream (some people think dreams often = predtictions but I don't beleive it is the case). When I read your question for the first time I thought you meant the second option but I realised it probably wasn't so I wrote both!

A dream implies a wish for something that might happen.
'I dream of winning the Lottery'
The chances in reality of doing this are slim so few people would have a vision of winning it.
A vision,on the other hand,is more attainable given that circumstances allow for it to become reality.
'I have a dream of one day starting up my own business'
This suggests that I would dearly love to do this but in reality it is only a dream
'I have a vision of one day starting up my own business' on the other hand implies that I can actually see this happening.
Vision- Visualize it becoming reality
Dream-Hope that it becomes reality

Hai, vision is the faculty or state of being able to see and which is really happening. And dream is a series of thoughts, images and sensations occuring in a person's mind during sleep. This is imagination and not a real one.
