Not at all! They aren't indentured servants or slaves. I fail to see how a job is considered abuse? They are well paid, get to travel the world doing what they love (dancing), the visibility is a tremendous boost to their career and they get to spend time with the beautiful and talented Gwen! Personally I'm proud to see more Asians in prime positions alongside such a major artist. I wish more singers/musicians would incorporate Asian people into their performances.

Here are links to video interviews with each of the 4 "Harajuku Girls".:

They certainly aren't complaining! A lot of people (Asian or otherwise) would kill to be in their places. With the crazy paparzzi the way it is today, if she was abusing anyone it would be on the front page of every tabloid newspaper (and probably some of the legitimate media outlets). Gwen Stefani has a reputation among people who have worked with her for being a very kind and generous person. I think it's both amusing and sad how people try to make controversy out of nothing.

No.

I have watched the videos and found nothing wrong or different from any other videos that are shot from other artists.

As for the concerts, same deal. One of the people that have answered this stated they get paid good money for this as well as great exposure for future work.

This seems to be a strange question but I hope I helped.

The Harajuku girls came about when Gwen went solo, their names are love. angel. music and baby. and always appear in that order when they're around her so they can "advertise" her fashion line (L.A.M.B) and debut album (Love Angel Music Baby). They were inspired by her fascination of the Harajuku culture. Three out of the four are from the USA and Baby, the fourth is from a city in Japan. Their real names are Maya Chino(Love), Jennifer Kita(Angel), Rino Nakasone(Music), and Mayuko Kitayama(Baby)

No. If I was one of the Harajuku girls I'd love to be in Gwen's videos and go on tour with her.
