i want to write a poem to my friend and i want to make it more than six lines long and under 2 pages long please help me because i want to help chear her up because she is having a rough time at the moment

dearest friend
When your days turns to night
and your stars put out their light
and you wonder with a shuddering fright
did I loose my dreadful fight
Look around you and you will see
that I am here to set you free
it might not be so easy
take my hand and trust me
I am here

Like the flowers that bloom,
Or when a butterfly emerges
From within its cocoon...
You remind me of that butterfly,
Loving and free,
Bright and colorful,
For the world to see...
We will share sunshine and rainbows;
Sometimes, the rain and the snow;
We'll stand together through it,
While the cold winds blow...
When the time is right,
We won't stop to ask "Why?"
Our friendship will take flight

And you want to get high,
Just take a good look
Up in the sky.
What you will see
Are the stars above,
And all you need
Is to proclaim your love.
Who you will find

Are friends in mind
You want to hold near.
Whenever you need them
Just look up high,
Call their name
And see them fly.
Every friend you meet
Owns a star

Though you feel despair,
If you talk with me a moment,
You will see that do care,
Please share with me your sorrow,
Don't be ashamed to shed a tear,
I'll listen to your worries,
Try to help remove the fear,
I can not solve your problems,
This is something only you can do,
But talking through your worries,
May give an overview.
Perhaps within the silence,
You might just be aware.
That deep within the silence
Is some one else who cares.

As the sun rises for another day, I miss you my friend because your away, I know you are sad, lonely, and blue! and as your friend I'm lonely too! So I'm sending this poem to clear all the gloom, and hoping that I'll be seeing you soon! Love you!

i am quite good at making up poems i have been writing them for years since i was 7 so i hope i have helped
