Let's see..Marikina city is within Metro Manila... by Manila, i assume you mean downtown manila (malate,sta cruz, binondo, intramuros...etc) which means...

the trip will take you more or less an hour by private car or the metro rail transit. that really depends on the time and traffic route you are taking.

for travel questions, i guess it's more practical to find out the time of travel with respect to distance.

no too far at least 3 hours to walk.if Quiapo and Espana is flooded
during my university days 15 yrs ago, 45min to 1 hour for a jeep from Provident Village, Marikina to PLM, Intramuros.
of course you'll take the fastest jeep around in marikina

Marikina City is approximately 21 km. away from Manila.

I'm going to give you an honest answer. I would say about 90% do. You will have very few who do and those that do shave are the ones who sell themselves but then again times are changing and personal choice comes into it. But on the level most don't shave. Best of luck because from the looks of it you'll need it.

It depends where in manila though. But if you're going to take the train like the LRT, it can take at least 25 minutes.

it's two- rides away from the center of manila. quite far. and the traffic would make it look really far..

About 15 kms....but it's about an hour due to traffic.
