:A diplomatic source said North Korea had demanded the United States and four other countries provide it with 2 million tonnes of heavy fuel oil annually -- worth about $600 million"

Only $600 million? What the hell, that is peanuts compared to the hundreds of billions a year Bush is spending on Iraq. Why Doesn't Bush allot $600 towards NK as the money would be spent on Terror, right?

USA doesn't want the issue to go away because they will make more money with NK as a threat. Japan and others will buy Billions and billions of military equipment from the USA only as long as they have a threat over there.

NK is America's cash cow, why shoot it?

A) OPEC is cutting oil production, of course we aren't giving in
B) If we give NK the money, yes it will go to terror, or building bigger bombs
C) japan either buys its rifles from the ex-soviets or makes them by themselves, same with their tanks and plans. EX: Mitsubishi made the Zeros that bombed Pearl harbor :)

and finally D) Currently we are fighting 2 conflicts, Afghanistan, and Iraq. if Bush opens a 3rd front the 32% of people that support him, will drop to 3.2% and then we'll have to hear more long speeches about why the attack was necessary.

Honestly, if NK throws a fit, I think Japan and China have it covered.

I'm sorry but you really need to do more research before posting something like this. The Conflict in North Korea is more than 50 years old dealing with many many issues which have revolved around nuclear weapons developement most of the time. To imply that the US is there to make money is ridiculous. If you were to do some actuall full depth research rather than citing one source you would find that North Korea, as well as every other conflict that the United States is involved in is COSTING them money, not making it.

george bush is like napolean just retarded. he wants to take over the whole world. afghanistan wasn´t enough so they fabricated reasons to invade and topple saddam hussein. that is done and iraq is left as a he double hockeysticks on earth. but that is still not enough for the dictator. now he wants to invade n. korea and iran. so he is fabricating new arguments that aren´t based on truth so he can continue his regime. remember b4 the new iraq war bush said that iraq, iran, and n. korea are the triangle of evil. Well pay attention to who he consideres evil next (russia) and think, this man is in charge of the country. talk about going back a few centuries. good luck for those unfortunates still in america. Love and Respect. Peace
