Fevers are not technically caused by teething....at least not by the teeth directly. The fever is caused by the teething lowering the immune system of your baby, therefor making him/her more suceptable to getting sick around the time he/she's teething. (that's the reason for the cough and fever).
The diaper rash is proably caused by extra bowl movements.? Not sure, but a guess...because when baby's teeth they swallow more spit...this can sometimes cause more bowlmovements and loose stooles. I've found balmex to work best for diaper rash...desitin creamy has something in it that actually stings the little one's rear end and it doesn't stick like balmex does.

those are all symptoms of teething. However, depending on how high her temp is and how long her cough is- she could have a respiratory infection. If her fever lasts more than 3 days call the dr. to check- flu is going around and often becomes bacterial which would require antibiotics. You are doing nothing wrong by the way- parenting is learned hands on and you just have watch your child and learn what is normal for her. but often fever and cough could be something more than teething or a cold if the fever lasts more than 3 days. keep an eye on her, make sure she gets plenty of fluids so she doesn't dehydrate. you'll be fine.

it isn't the direct results of teething however the different indications infants have whilst teething motives it. while a baby is teething they drool extra. As they swallow extra drool they'd sometimes have loose poops. The loose poops in turn reason the diaper rash. Use some desitin and no remember if this is not extra acceptable in an afternoon or 2 evaluate taking her to the well being care expert simply by fact some rashes would be brought about via a yeast bacteria. That demands a prescription diaper rash cream. stable success!

OK teething babies can have lots of symptoms...my son had diarrhea, fever, runny nose and cough. but every baby teethes different...no if she is having diarrhea then that could be causing the rash...but if not then maybe change her diaper more frequently and keep destine on her bottom...and for the fever give Tylenol or Motrin and give her a cool bath not a warm one...keep her in just a diaper...but i would still talk to the doctor just to make sure...good luck mom

I don't believe it is ALL related, I know other problems can come from teething though. See the babies doctor, her immune system might be down or something.
