My boss hits on me. I don't mind because he is a good friend of mine. I have worked for him for five years now, and he has never acted on it.

There are two things that DO bother me about this situation though.

1. He has a wife, that I am also good friend with, and I feel bad letting him talk the way that he does.

2. My sister has begun working there recently, and he hits on her too. My big sister gene kicked in, and I am a little worried...

I don't know what to do, because I don't want to ruin their marrige, or mine and my boss's friendship, but it really needs to end.

How do I go about asking him to stop without hurting anyone?

Talk to him alone and calmly tell him it's making you uncomfortable and that he should stop. Give him a couple of chances to stop and then act on it.

Tell your boss that what he is doing is in your opinion inappropriate and making you uncomfortable. Ask him to stop. If he will not or cannot you should suggest counseling and if necessary use the law to protect you from harassment.
