I believe right now the situation is still diplomatic. Theres a lot of tough talk going around but it is working. the question is will Iran make a misstep and do something silly to Provoke the US. They would be sadly mistaken to believe the US is too busy to attack them. The US does not have to get involved in "nation building" and that is the problem in Iraq. It doesnt have to be the problem in Iran. Our Air force could turn it into a parking lot.. or we could allow Israel to do it. Of corse all of that would be bad for the US ..worse for Iran so i really do not think an attack is Imminent.

US will avoid an engagement of this sort if they have learned anything from "Iraq Mis -adventure".
The Iranians unlike Arabs of Iraq cannot be divided on secterian lines will go wild if provoked and this for sure is not in the best of US Business Interest in the Middle East.
But the US will find a Diplomatic solution for the problem mostly through the European Union which has healthier relations with Iran.
So i do not think , there is much to panic at least till the end of IAEA and UN Deadlines.

The USA will not attack Iran unless Iran attacks the US directly.
While it is true that their psycho president is interfering with the Iraq situation I do not believe that this is enough to trigger a war between the US and Iran....but then again who can tell what Bush will do? It all depends on what Cheney thinks.

US will not attack Iran. Their intemperate utterances are only to frighten the Islamic countries from helping Iran.
