So im doing my monthly breast exam, or lets say every 3-4 months...and I've noticed my breasts have VERY hard lumps, small and big in both of them, most hard tissue, it hurts if u apply a little bit of pressure. Inpartiular my left breast has a lump that isnt moving near the nipple and its very painful when touched. The right is lumpy, but not as much as the left. Should I be worried? After finding this, I remembered I have a lot of breast pain, they will be sore quite often, even to the touch.....what could these lumps be? They were never this big or hard, and its really bothering me. I dont know of any breast cancer in the family....but i dont think boobs should feel like mine....any input would be helpful..thanks.

It could be a buildup of fibersistic tissue. Is it that time of the month? If so, some women's breast will swell, having lumps and tenderness. If your condition persists, I would advise you to have it checked out just to be on the safe side. You don't have to have a family history of breast cancer for you to get it. As for the discharge, that's not a good sign. Have it looked at immediately.

My mother had breast cancer, and normally those lumps don't hurt. So don't start freaking out. My friend Sara had a very large lump in her breast she went to the doctor and they took a sample of the tissue and it wasn't cancerous. It was cysts. And all they did was drain them.

I would definitely go and see your physician, lumps in the breast might be anything from cancer, a tumor, or merely a cyst. So, I strongly suggest a meeting as soon as possible. God Bless.

I have very hard lumps at times, it is fybroid cysts in breasts. Very common actually. However, I have never had the health issue that you are stating you have here. I would go to your doc. It is worth checking into.
