IT DEPENDS ON YOUR SKIN TYPE. IF U HAVE OILY SKIN, JUST USE PRESSED OR LOOSE POWDER TO SOAK UP THE OIL AND KEEP THE SHINE AWAY OR MAKE SURE THAT THE MAKEUP HAS NO OIL ADDED TO IT. FOR DRY SKIN, USE MAKEUP WITH A MOISTURISER IN IT AND FOR NORMAL SKIN, TRY A TINTED MOISTURISER. REMEMBER TO CLEANSE YOUR FACE EVERY DAY, ESPECIALLY AFTER PUTTING ANYTHING ON YOUR SKIN. TIP- IF U HAVE PROBLEMS PUTTING ON YOUR MAKEUP, ADD A SMALL AMOUNT OF MOISTURISER TO IT AND IT WILL GO ON MORE SMOOTHLY.

I swear by the mineral makeup. Ive had the best luck with Bare Escentuals. I didnt like the Nutrogeana or the Philsophy mineral foundations.
The BE can be worn by anyone. My year old niece just started wearing it. It lets your skin breathe and there's suncreen in it. It's also approved by the dermatologists. It can be a little tricky to get the application at first. The powder can get all over. But, once you get the hang of it, you can get your whole face done in 5 minutes.

There really is no "best" makeup to use as I have discovered. I have a mish-mash of different favorites that I have collected over the years, from expensive Clinique or Estee to some from the local flea market. Use what you are comfortable with, and which fits your purse! It's really a matter of trial and error. However, I think that the Maybelline range and the max factor range are very good.

Natural is always the best , but again it depends how old are you, where and when do you want to go.
for evening you might want to put a little bit more make up, daytime a bit less.
but whatever you do just don't forget to make sure everything look natural my dear.
Finally buy less makeup and the best there is for your skin.

can you be a little more specific? what products do you use, generally? what looks are you going for?

i like the new max factor eyeshadows, they go on well wet or dry and come in tons of colors, they're fun and easy to mix-and-match with

rimmel makes really affordable and cute lipglosses, but i don't like their cream or powder eyeshadows very much

I love makeup ... the more the better. I use either Mac or Benefit brands ... sometimes I use Lancome as well. You should go in to Macys or Norstroms and have them do your makeup for you.

I like mineral makeup the best. It covers blemishes and uneven tone, so you don't look like you're wearing makeup, but your skin looks great!
