Barack Obama confesses to smoking pot, using cocaine and only considered using heroin... My point of view. He was honest unlike past candidates and presidents. It all happened a long time ago. He has come clean and stayed clean. His career has thrived. He sets a good example for the people who use drugs and think they have no way out.Unfortunately drug users past and present are a major percentage of our country's people. You know what I think. Now I want to know what you think...

He certainly talks a good talk. I really like what he has to say about unifying the United States.

But, you know, politicians are supposed to talk a good line. He does seem a little innocent and wide-eyed for a politician (I'm talking about his stated stance on bodyguards -- I think he's in a lot more danger than he's saying he is). I don't think he's any worse than the other guys out there. If the election was today, there's a good chance I'd vote for him.

Absolutely man. I'm tired of the BS politicians who claim to walk on water. I think Obama accorded himself well when he responded to John Howard. He even passed along a little quip when he said that if Howard was so "ginned" up about Iraq he should send more troops. Obama is sharp. It would be a nice change to see sharp in the White House.

Dani doesn't seem to realise that the Republicans would be the one's who would be crucifying Obama if he were a Republican.
Honesty doesn't sit too well with them.

if he was running for the republican ticket he'd be getting crucified because of the things he's done...but since he's running on the democratic ticket, he's awesome and should be president.

No, I dont think he should run. He's just a "good looking " guy, but really....what does he know?

I realize he'd be getting crucified by the same people who thought Bush was a horrible president because he admitted to smoking pot in the past, but thought Clinton was a hero because he cheated on his wife numerous times.

He definitely should be considered. Considering the amount of drug using voters I don't see any disconnect.

Hussein Obama is an ultra leftwing extremist, and should NOT be considered for ANY elected office in the USA, let alone the Presidency.

Down with socialism!
