You will need to use a commercial rust remover. Follow directions exactly and do not leave on surface very long as acid in many rust removers can etch the surface.

Or the best way was to use alot of elbow grease and a soft rag and Turtle Wax Polishing Compound and then buff it up a little. Believe it or not it works like a charm and they look like new.

Use lime and water to remove it or buy 'Easy of bang' a liquid cleaner that removes all types of rust stains.!!

theres this stuff you buy called "Rust & Lime remover"
look in the shower & bath cleaning supplies
