Try rubbing alcohol. If there are little bits left after that you may want to get a buffer and buff them out.

Yin&yang has it right, thats the best way to remove vinal stickers, if there is some adhesive still left on the paint WD40 with a soft cloth will take that off, If there is a "shadow" where the stripe used to be then use 3M fine cut buffing compound availbile at most auto parts stores, it recomneds you do it with a power buffer but you can do it by hand just as well. Just keep the compound moist dont let it dry, and dont use a lot of pressuer speed is more effective and it wont leave swirl marks, Hope This helps and good luck!

I found this. I hope it helps. The source is the link below.
Removing pinstripes
What is the best way to remove old stick-on type pinstripes from the paint?
If there is clear-coat type of paint over them, then there is really no way that’s reasonable at home. If not, use a heat gun or a hair dryer to soften the adhesive and then slowly peel it away. Remove the remaining adhesive residue with any of the available release solvents such as Goo Gone. Be sure to thoroughly rinse the area when you’re done.

First, are the stripes vinyl? if so, use a hairdryer NOT a heat gun. Apply steady stream of heat to one corner, as sticker softens, us fingernail or plastic utensil NOT A KNIFE OR BLADE. Peel slowly back. If stickers have been on vehicle for quite some time, sticker lines may still be visible.
