Hi i have had 2 lactose intolerance children and the first signs that i have experienced was my child was not sleeping ,seemed to be in alot of pain, alot of votomiting not keeping the milk down and greenish poos That is the most common signs of lactose intolerance children. my baby as it was he ended up being lactose intolerence and protien intolerance but it had taken me several months to find this out . and when my third child was born i had the same sysmtons and i knew she was lactose intolerance. She was in hospital when she was 8 wks old and i asked the doctors to test her for it but they never so my next option was to go to the chemist and ask them ,straight away they told me to put her on De_lactose formaula and ever since then i have had a very happy baby. Most children do grow out of it ,my son is now 6 and he loves his dairy foods, drinks milk like its going out of fashion. Some soy milks help for awhile but if i was you i would just go straight to the De_lactose and if that doesn't help then your doctor will have to prescribe another milk for you. But you can get Lactose milk prescribed by your doctor and get it on scripit. Hope that has answered your question.

Lactose intolerant infants.. I was one of them.. and as an adult still don't tolerate dairy well...
Symptoms of Colic
Abdominal distention is common, as are flatus (gas or air in the intestines) and borborygmus (movement of air and fluid in the intestines). Frequently, greenish mucoid stools are passed. The infant sucks with vigor, gulping formula and air; transient relief is achieved, then suddenly the infant is grasped by another episode of apparent gastrocolic cramping and pain, and begins to cry out again. The infant is commonly fretful and inconsolable, and makes piercing cries that wrench parents into despair.
Some infants have spasmodic attacks that last only a few minutes; others appear to be in pain all day. The most common expression of colic, however, is evening fussiness after feeding. Infants with colic may have some gastroesophageal reflux but do not have vomiting, diarrhea, persistent abdominal distention or poor growth. The presence of these symptoms should prompt a search for a diagnosis other than colic.
I cried alot....before I ate.. and really alot after I ate.
I spit up alot...... all the time.
The best thing to do is to have your baby assessed by your Pediatrician.. let him/her know what is happening....
and see what they recommend....
