Please get this checked out as soon as you can...I had a stabbing pain in my right side too, i had it on and off for months and kept dismissing it as ovulation pain.

Turns out I had a cyst on my right ovary which needed removing.
As well as the pain I used to have hot flushes and dizziness.

The pain got unbearable one day and I collapsed at home. I had the cyst removed but because I'd left it for so long it had got so big that they needed to remove my fallopian tube as well.

Pain is your body's way of telling you something is not right...please dont ignore it!

It may not turn out to be this but why not get yourself checked out anyway?

Hope this helps, tc

I used to get severe pains during ovulation it was because I had a cyst in my ovary the GP said that it was so large it was beginning to cause my ovary to twist and I was spotting every time I ovulated it was awful because I also got menstrual cramps. check this out with your GP as soon as. this could be a cyst but it may still be small. this happened to me when I was only 24yrs old so its not about being mature.

you're likely experiencing ovulation discomfort which takes position to about 20% of girls human beings. Ovulation takes position 12-16 days previously the onset of your era. see you later because this is not lasting more effective than an afternoon or 2 there should not be reason for situation.

Pain can come with Ovulation. Period does not = ovulation. Ovulation is about 14 days into cycle, and period is every 28 days. So if it is roughly two weeks after your period then it IS mosty likely ovulation. if not, see a doctor.

how do u know its in your OVARY. im not sure how you can tell that thats even where it is?! see a doctor to tackle the root cause. stabbing pains can be symptons of more serious underlying problems.

I get pains in my ovaries when I ovulate, but then, I'm 40. It may be normal, but I wouldn't ignore it.

You might want to talk to your ob-gyn to rule out anything dangerous like cervical cancer or endometriosis.

I get this every other month mid way through my cycle. I put it down to ovulation.

Could your pain be the same?

You should be seen by a physician as this could be indicative of a cyst, ectopic pregnancy, or a whole host of other problems. No one can diagnose you on a website.
