i got a news from my relatives she says that my mother in laws sister told her that my mother in law at her 18yrs of age was raped by 4guys while she whet shopping alone .this incicdent took place before her marrige and people spread the news my mother in law is nice to me since my marriage i and m husband has never hide anything from any body i have three male childrens and i am 33yrs now i am afraid to tell him about the incident to him it is regarding his mother i am confussed pls explain.as he always like truth and if he knows it from me he will be upset let me know what to do dear freinds

It is pleasing to see that you care so much for your husband's wellbeing, however I do believe that the only person who should tell him of the rape of his mother, is his mother, no-one else. But consider this, how reliable is the information from your mother in law's sister, if you go telling your husband information about his mother that is totally false or exagerated, you could be doing more harm than good. Sorry, this is one problem that you should leave well enough alone.

If she wanted for her son to know she would have said so don't worry too much about it but if you still feel like you have to tell him ask your mother in law first

My opinion, ask your mother in law if she wants her son to know.....the inncident happened to her and I think it is her choice whether or not her son know. If she tells you she would rather you not mention anything to him....then don't!
Then later if you husband finds out, tell him you knew, he can't get mad at you because you were only following his mother's wishes of him not telling.
And if she tells you she doesn't care if he knows, then tell him if you feel compelled to do so.
