I have a friend whose coller (shoulder) bone is fractured during a road accident. It has been 20 days now and he still feel pain when he sleep on that side.

Please tell me if there is any care or excercise for quick healing.

There is no exercise for quick healing.

The collar bone (clavicle) will heal in approximately 6 weeks. This is an average figure.

It is a bit faster if you are young and slower if you are old.

It is slower if you are a smoker and if your smoking (or diabetes or other vascular diseases) block off your arteries to any serious level you might find you'll have quite a bit of trouble - some bone doesn't heal, particularly if it doesn't get blood supply.

It heals nice and strong if you:
o Don't smoke
o Rest the limb as best as you can
o Have some sunshine, milk, yoghurt, cheese etc. for calcium and vit D
o Avoid traumatizing that shoulder

Bones take 4 to 6 weeks to heal if they are broken. Only time will heal it.
