generally considered as a well balanced team. Only problem is that their ability to perform to their potential. I think, the selected team should be put into rigourous training and match practice to

Most of the players selected for the World Cup had choosen themselves with their performance. However I am only sceptical about Yuvraj. We are not sure how much fit Yuvi is. World Cup is a long tournament considering we go upto the semis and finals. In such a case all the players selected should be 100% fit. If Yuvi is not fully fit, which I think is, then Mohammed Kaif should have been considered. Another observation is regarding the 5 fast bowlers and only 2 spinners selected. I think since both Sreesanth and Munaf did well in the 2nd ODI against SriLanka the selectors were forced to pick both and drop Ramesh Powar. I personally feel only 4 fast bowlers and three spinners Kumble, Harbhajan and Ramesh Powar should have been selected. Atleast 3 to 4 pitches in the WI support spinners. And about the rest of the pitches we are not sure how fast they will be. By playing Powar we would have had 3 allrounders in the squad namely Agarkar, Pathan and Powar which is what is required in a ODI. One good thing about this is squad is that we have 2 wicketkeepers both of whom are very good batsman.

im not fully satisfied with this squad.fitness of the players might be a worry.i want to see a fast bowler there instead of dinesh karthik.
