I am sorry I do not live alone. But you can come over if you want

I've lived alone for a year and it makes me feel both lonely and happy. I love only having to think of myself and be able to do what i want and when, having a clean flat and not putting up with flatmates friends and noise. Sometimes though i wish i had someone to chat to in the evenings - just about what happenned during the day and what was just on tv.

There is nothing wrong with living alone.
To live alone and be truely happy and content - is to be TOTALLY COMFORTABLE IN YOUR OWN SKIN (and) IN YOUR OWN COMPANY.

You have to really like yourself - not in a selfish way - but in a mature adult/grown-up way.

Confident and self assured people - are very comfortable living alone.

Keeping in mind that "living alone" doesn't mean "for the rest of your life".

I love being in my own space - wearing or not wearing - clothes. Being free of outside forces that prohibit me from thinking and relaxing freely. Coming and going without answering to anyone and being able to tp shower (use the bathroom) without closing the door.

Ask anyone with roommates - which would you prefer?? Hands down - they would opt for "living alone".

If you can afford to live alone - consider yourself very fortunate - and keep doing what ever it is you are doing - to make that possible.

I live alone, and I am OK with that|

I think that people who live alone are being unjustly stigmatized by others|

Are you getting snide or subtle comments to this effect?

Don't worry about that, it is all part of a larger plan to quash individuality in people|

I think that you will notice that you are being made to feel bad or guilty about other things that you are doing, things that are part of who you are|

You are doing nothing wrong, but there are people trying to make you feel that way|

My advice, kick them right in the b**** - no only kidding! - that will get you in trouble| but just be aware of what is happening and that is most of the battle|

I feel happy because I can get away from the outside world and ust chill and do some things I like to do. I can read, watch tv, just relax in the privacy of my own house. I can do whatever I want without having to worry about what a roommate is thinking.

Yes I live alone. I like it most of the time as when I finish work most days I can't be bothered with making the effort. Sometimes it can be lonely though.

I only *wish* I lived alone. I have in the past and it was supremely liberating to be in fulll control of everything that manifests within your day. It all depends on your perspective. Living alone has it's merits.

"Most problems today exist due to the inability of man being able to sit alone in a room with his thoughts." I can't remember who said that, but I totally agree.

Rock on

There's nothing like living alone. It's great, I mean you dont worry about a thing. Late for work? dont have to pick up your clothes. Forgot to put the toilet seat down? No one to start naggin. wanna walk around naked? cool. Feel like sleeping all day? Zero noise. dude, unless you're co-dependent or unable to pay your own pad, living alone has made me a very happy person.
Try it, you'll like it.
