My daughter is in year 7 this year... And I found out she was going out with this cute guy her age.. They were kissing the other day.. I was hiding around the corner.. Is it too young for her to be going out? And what should be the right age for her to have a boyfriend?

whoa.. thats sound terrible for me. urm, i think 12 is too young for a girl to have a noyfriend. furthermore she hasnt even get her first menstruation (hasnt she?)
but dont be mad at her. just tell her the right thing. tell her that if she really love that boy, they should be together until they are married (long way to go huh?)
i dont even know if a 12 year old girl really understand the love between a couple yet.

I think it is too young personally. They are not mentally or emotionally ready. She is just a little girl. And kissing usually escalates to something more serious given time.

Yes she is too young. She can have a boyfriend but needs to always be with you or other kids. She has plenty of time to have a bf. Do you want to be a grandma at your age? you might be raising this kid.

Nowadays there is no age of having a boyfriend or gilfriend it is the matter of how u fel about the person and how ready u r.And most important u should know the disadventages of a heart break

yes normally it is too young for children this age to date but if you trust her and feel that she can handle the responsibilities in having a relationship, for all means go on! Let her learn from experience.

having a bf when ur in high school is fine. U need to talk to her and advise her regarding the things she needs to prioritize now like her studies etc

I would say yes. But don't bust her chops about it. Kids outta be at least 15 before they date. Also monitor her online activity vigorously. You never know who she might talk to.
