i moved into a new apartment this summer, so far everythings been pretty good with it....however, i just dont get how to work the heating system....its those old time radiators. sometimes it seems as thought it cuts on when it wants to .....never when i really need it to, then when it is on i dont want to turn it off just in case i cant turn it back on.....does anyone know how to work these things?

Without knowing what type of system you have it would be best to contact your landlord or the local maintenance man for the building. It's relatively simple and the procedure shouldn't take long.
