I need help to get more organised and motivated towards my schoolwork. School has just start back (2 weeks ago) and i know this year there is going to be lots of homework and pretty hard classwork. It is fairly important that I do well this year so I can do the right subjects for my TEE .I am usually quite determined and organised, but I really just cant get going. Does anyone have any idea how to get me more motivated and organised?

First of all, you REALLY have to want to do well in school. Like honest to god, you want to do this for yourself and you need to remind yourself how valuable an education is.

Best way to get organized: Binder for every subject. Stock it with loose leaf note paper.

Best way to stay on top of things: Miss school only when you REALLY need to. Always stay current on homework.

Motivation: I find that quotes on my binders that really inspire me help me out in the long run.

Book your schedule. Allow only specific amounts of time for homework (what you think is enough) and keep all your other time full with activities like a sports team, club or a project so that you'll indirectly force yourself to do your homework when you've alotted time for it because you have no other time to do it and it needs to get done. Also keep a study buddy. Like an alarm clock, they'll remind you to do your hw maybe even do the same hw at the same time so that if there are problems you can also call the other for help or just to vent.

Do a little at a time, take short breaks to reward yourself for a job well done.
